Using Tandemly

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Tandemly mobile application, website, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Tandemly, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Tandemly.
About Tandemly
Tandemly is a shared task and household organization application designed to help people manage responsibilities together.
Tandemly may allow users to:
- Create and manage shared tasks
- Assign responsibilities
- Organize tasks into categories
- Set due dates and priorities
- Track task completion
- View shared household progress
- Invite another person to join a household
Features may change or expand over time.
User Accounts
Some Tandemly features require an account.
When creating or using an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Not share your account credentials with unauthorized users
- Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
Shared Households
Tandemly is designed to allow users to share household information and responsibilities with other users.
When you join or create a shared household, certain information may be visible to other members of that household, including:
- Your name
- Tasks you create
- Task assignments
- Task completion
- Categories
- Shared household activity
- Household progress information
You are responsible for deciding what information you choose to share with other household members.
Household Invitations
Tandemly may allow users to invite another person to join a shared household.
You agree to only send invitations to people you know and intend to share household information with.
You are responsible for ensuring that invitations are sent appropriately and to the correct recipient.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Tandemly to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Commit fraud or engage in deceptive activity
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm another person
- Attempt to access another user's account without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Tandemly's systems, databases, or services
- Introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful software
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Tandemly
- Circumvent security measures
- Use Tandemly in a way that infringes another person's rights
- Use automated systems to improperly access or overload the service
We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe Tandemly is being misused.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the information and content you create within Tandemly. This may include:
- Tasks
- Notes
- Categories
- Household information
- Preferences
- Other information you enter into the service
By using Tandemly, you grant us permission to store, process, display, and transmit this information as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the service.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Tandemly.
Privacy
Your use of Tandemly is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

Account Deletion
You may stop using Tandemly at any time.
You may delete your account through the Delete Account option within the Tandemly app.
Account deletion may permanently remove information associated with your account.
Because Tandemly includes shared household features, some shared information may remain where reasonably necessary to preserve information belonging to another household member or where retention is required for legal, security, or operational purposes.

Third-Party Services
Tandemly may rely on third-party services to provide functionality such as authentication, database storage, hosting, and other technical services.
These may include services provided by companies such as Supabase, Apple, and Google.
Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, security, or operation of third-party services outside of our reasonable control.
Availability of Tandemly
We aim to keep Tandemly available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The service may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- Maintenance
- Software updates
- Technical problems
- Network interruptions
- Third-party service outages
- Security issues
- Circumstances outside our control
We may temporarily suspend access where reasonably necessary to maintain or protect the service.
Changes to Tandemly
Tandemly may change over time. We may:
- Add new features
- Change existing features
- Remove features
- Update the interface
- Change how parts of the service operate
- Discontinue parts of the service
We may make changes without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
Intellectual Property
Tandemly, including its name, branding, software, design, graphics, interface, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to the operator of Tandemly and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of Tandemly or any of its intellectual property.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Tandemly except where permitted by applicable law or with prior written permission.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Tandemly, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the service without obligation to compensate you.
Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Tandemly if we reasonably believe that you:
- Violated these Terms
- Misused the service
- Created a security risk
- Attempted to access systems or information without authorization
- Used Tandemly for illegal activity
- Created a risk to other users or the service
We may also suspend or discontinue Tandemly where necessary for legal, technical, or operational reasons.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Tandemly is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that:
- Tandemly will always be available
- Tandemly will operate without errors or interruptions
- All features will always function as expected
- Tandemly will meet every user's individual requirements
- Information stored in Tandemly will never be lost
You are responsible for how you choose to use the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tandemly and its owner or operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Tandemly.
This may include damages related to:
- Service interruptions
- Data loss
- Unauthorized access
- Errors or technical problems
- Reliance on information stored in Tandemly
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
No Professional Advice
Tandemly is a household and task organization tool.
It does not provide legal, financial, medical, safety, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for decisions made based on information you enter into or view through Tandemly.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted on this page and the Last updated date will be revised.
Your continued use of Tandemly after updated Terms become effective means you agree to the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Tandemly, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws remain unaffected.
